ii and Dodl (AJ Bell) are two of the longest-standing investment providers in the UK market and each boasts hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers. Both providers have very similar offerings, across general investment accounts, stocks, and shares ISA (which Dodl calls Investment ISAs) and SIPPs. Dodl also has the additional product of a Lifetime ISA. Both ii and Dodl have competitive fee structures. ii, come into their own with their regular free investing available to investors who deposit £25 or more a month. ii, also have a seriously low minimum investment amount of £1, which is always good for investors wanting to start off investing little and often. Dodl on the other hand has higher minimums being £100 or £25 a month, if you set up a direct debit. Dodl comes out on top with their attractive approach to platform fees - 0.15% fee (minimum fee £1 per month) - and zero additional trading fees.
